Aarti chhabria
The days of lifting music are finally over, well almost. While a few music directors may still get inspired by world music tracks, things by and large have changed for the better.
Many Bollywood producers now prefer to get permission or pay the royalty to take any tracks from the West.
Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria are seeking copyrights of the '70s Boney M chartbuster Daddy Cool. The producer duo wants to include the track in their film of the same name.
Directed by K. Murli Mohan Rao, Daddy Cool stars Sunil Shetty, Aftab Shivdasani, Kim Sharma and Aarti Chhabria. It was shot on a start-to-finish schedule in Karjat.
Thakeria is now initiating talks with Sony BMG music.
